The Gypsy is designed for good rolling resistance on manual and e-bikes for use across various road and hard pack terrains. To keep your adventure on course, the Gypsy uses a 60-TPI casing and our Silkworm breaker puncture protection beneath the tread.
Silkshield
Maxxis SilkShield is an exclusive protective material which offers protection from bead to bead, whereas Silkworm is found only under the tread. Both increase puncture and tear resistance without adding much weight.
